The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) is a Dutch government scholarship for professionals from developing countries, including Nigeria, to study master’s degrees and short professional courses in the Netherlands. It is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed through Dutch universities. The scholarship focuses on development-related fields such as engineering, sustainability, agriculture, public health, water management, and technology.

  • Search for an OKP-eligible course in a Dutch university
  • Apply to the university first
  • Get admission or conditional admission
  • The university invites or nominates you for the scholarship application
  • Submit scholarship documents through the university/Nuffic portal
  • Final selection is made by the Dutch authorities

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant work experience
