NNPC–SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship 2026 for Study in the United Kingdom (Fully Funded)

Description

This is a prestigious fully-funded scholarship by NNPC Limited and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) in partnership with co-venturers. It supports Nigerians to pursue a one-year Master’s degree in selected engineering and geoscience-related courses at top UK universities (mainly University of Aberdeen and Newcastle University). The goal is to build local capacity in the oil & gas and energy sector.

Full tuition fees

Monthly living allowance

Return economy airfare

Visa & health insurance (in some cases)

Requirements

Nigerian citizen

Aged between 21–28 years by 30 September 2026

Completed NYSC (or exemption) by September 2026

Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) Bachelor’s degree

Relevant courses: Geophysics, Safety & Reliability Engineering, Advanced Chemical Engineering, etc.

Must not have previously studied in the UK or other developed countries

Strong leadership potential
