Description
UK government-funded scholarships for citizens of Commonwealth countries to pursue Masters or PhD studies at UK universities. Nigeria is an eligible country. Administered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in partnership with Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Education.
Covers:
Full tuition fees
Living stipend (~£1,452/month)
Return airfare, thesis grant
Arrival & end-of-award allowances
Study Level: Masters (1 year) / PhD (up to 3 years)
Requirements
Nigerian citizen
NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
First Class or 2:1 (Upper Second) degree for Masters;
2:2 acceptable for PhD
Apply to at least 2 UK universities; commitment to Nigeria's development goals
Documents Needed: Completed CSC online application, academic transcripts & certificates, 2 academic references, personal statement (Development Impact Statement), NYSC certificate, international passport
